I would choice challenging teacher since usual Easy "A" teachers can't give me a challenge. I love challenges so challenging teachers are whom I would pick.

a challenge.. because although i hate having really hard classes and lots of homework.. I cant stand sitting there feeling like I'm wasting my time because I already know everything that's being taught..If I HAVE to go to school _dry.gif ..I guess I better just try to learn somethin.. heh happy.gif

In math, an easy "A" teacher.
In everything else, anything's fine by me.

eh, i would pick the challenging class because it shows on your record that you took a challenging class. and even if you do bad in it, it'll look better than getting an "a" in an easy class.
but then, since it is english, i'll just take the easy class because i hate english.

harder teacher, cause that easy teacher only gets you through one term. it dont do you good for next term when you get a harder teacher anyway.

Well, if you keep on taking easy a teachers and you want to goto college; you are f*ed because you arent getting prepared properly.

Inthemudhole mentioned for math - YES; unless you are going into a career that requires a higher level of math.

So, it's up to you; but a challenging teacher is more beneficial in the long run because you KNOW where you stand in the department of knowledge - instead of a false reading.

an easy a because the colleges only look at the grades, not the classes, i think...

you're 100% wrong.

if i took the easiest classes in the world and got 100s in all of them, they wouldn't care.

but if i took a lot of AP classes and maintained a high B or low A, they'd think "wow this guy works hard if he can maintain those grades"

it's ultimately ur choice...i'd go with the tougher classes. just work hard, and then you can still get your A

I do want an easy A teacher, but I also want to be recognized for working hard in that class.. So I want my teacher to be sort of easy and tough at the same time. Like my 10th grade english teacher. I thought she was tough but her work was fairly easy, but some were tough. I want it to be evened out.

well, it's like this folks. The hard english teacher and the easy english teacher are teaching the same course, pre-AP/college english. But! Theytold us that they are "supposedly" working together. Meaning that they would assign the same hw/cw. But on the very first day of school, kruger (my current english teacher) assigns 1 paragraph of hw, and Vehar (The hard teacher) assigns 2 pages minimum!!

What do you think folks?

btw. i get 4 bathroom pasess from Kruger, meanwhile students from Vehar only get 2.. each pass is worth 100% on a quiz. quizzes are worth 20% of your grade.. u do the math.. yepp, an easy 80%.. i can get a C and bring it up to an A.
