They're an organization that acts like the Communist Red Guard.

They try to instill fear among the average people, showing gruesome pictures and gory rated R material to little children. PETA shouldn't be legal.

I feel that you step past the line when you go up to a little child waiting to watch "The Nutcracker" with her mom and dad, and show her a picture of a mom beheading an animal, and saying "your mom is wearing its skin"

I'm kind of part-vegetarian.
I eat more fruits and vegetables than meat, and I'll only eat poultry usually.. not much fish, rarely ever beef, practically never pork..

and I do not eat specialty meats that we get here.. like bison and deer and stuff. Ahh! Sure, I like meat, but I'm a BIG animal lover.

its not thattttt hard! its more of a mind over matter thing...ive been vegan for about 4/5 years now..the only problem ive had is eating lunch at school...everything comes from an animal

well, i'm kinda vegitarian. i don't eat most meat- i do eat turkey though and sometimes pork and chicken.

Kind of. My brother and mother are vegetarians . . . so whenever I don't eat out or cook I just eat whatever they make. Doesn't matter, I can live with out meat. I just don't choose to yet.

No it isn't, vegetarians eat diary products, eggs, and honey while vegans don't. Vegans don't even wear leather or any kind of animal hide. Basically they don't touch anything that once had a face or was living.

and about the "great" soy products. soy has been tested to activate estrogen in guys (i heard this from several, not just one, nutritionist). so i avoid soy stuff. i don't really need it anyways


being a vegetarian/vegan? its your own choice. but i'd never do it because

1) animals (meat) have protein, and it's a lot different than soy protein (i guess you could get all your protein from dairy products because dairy products are rich in casein protein)
2) meat is GOOd
3) a lot of ppl who are against killing animals are hypocritical.

just out of curiousity, is anyone here vegan or vegetarian? i have been vegetarian for 2 years now, and have recently converted into straight veganism. see my signature for a link to PETA for those interested, hehe.
