Well, i was surfing around on the net one day and i found an article about how fluoride is bad for us. Then i dug a lil deeper and found out some more startling stuff.

Fluoride is in our tap water and fluoride is in our toothpaste and other things we normaly use. They have been purposely put there with hopes of "preventing tooth decay." The proof that fluoride has prevented tooth decay is weakly substantiated with minute evidence.

Here are some facts about fluoride.

-it's more toxic then lead
-it's causes bones to become brittle
-fluoride is not a proven nutrient
-you can have perfectly healthy teeth without fluoride

Why must you ask hasnt the government stopped this? Mainly because it's just cheaper for them to dump it into the things we use and buy little by litle to get rid of it. Many companies have been brainwashed into thinking fluoride is good for us and everything.

more info at
http://www.fluoridealert.org/

I swear to whoever that this is pure friggin evil. Just thought i'd let all of you guys know and that i'll be protesting soon with people in my area. -.-

Nope, its the real deal i've looked at over 15 webpages on google and pagse and pages on google more to go on this stuff. It's legit; just read up on it a bit, you'll be scared of your pants. -.-

yea i was a skeptic at first too

then i kept reading on FDA, EPA official web

QUOTE
Fluoride. Many communities add fluoride to their drinking water to promote dental health. Each community makes its own decision about whether or not to add fluoride. EPA has set an enforceable drinking water standard for fluoride of 4 mg/L (some people who drink water containing fluoride in excess of this level over many years could get bone disease, including pain and tenderness of the bones). EPA has also set a secondary fluoride standard of 2 mg/L to protect against dental fluorosis. Dental fluorosis, in its moderate or severe forms, may result in a brown staining and/or pitting of the permanent teeth. This problem occurs only in developing teeth, before they erupt from the gums. Children under nine should not drink water that has more than 2 mg/L of fluoride.

na its not ur dentist's fault it's brand companies that got paid off and promotioned fluoride up the ass....i'm scared now because now i know why i get sick everytime i swallow little toothpaste when i brush my teeth...it messes up your kidneys also because they can only filter half of the fluoride in ur body...so it's tough on them

if a kid eats eevn half of a toothpaste containing fluoride he/she WILL DIE

look on ur toothpaste label it says if some1 eats this call poison control or something.......

yeah, fluoride is dangerous, but only in large doses. the amount of fluoride in tap water and toothpaste isn't enough to be too bad.

Yeah.. most toothpaste has flouride and it kinda sucks. Because I used to never brush my teeth or anything(I was 9 _dry.gif), and they were perfectly fine. But then suddenly my dentist says I need to get rid of the plaque.. so I started brushing my teeth again. Problem is, toothpaste hurts like heck! And I have more dental problems when I brush my teeth than without brushing at all.

Usually I just chew gum.. my teeth get clean, my breath smells better, and I don't have cavities/dental issues.

Easy, if it was bad for me then I wouldn't have been given it by dentists my whole life. My friend's lived in Hong Kong for 3 years, with no flouride. After they had been there for a year they were in the states visiting. When they went to their dentist they had tons of cavaties because of a lack lof flouride. It's not bad for you.

There are numerous reasons why your cousins have had cavaties; fluoride cant be linked to it. They have done tests in areas where there is no fluordation in the water and where there is flurodation in the water. The results where the tooth decay in the non fluordated area was the same as the results in the fluordated area; even better in some cases.

Even western europe has rejected the fluordation of their water.

I dont want to turn this into a debate; but i just want you guys to be conscious of these things around us.

WAIT A SECOND. Then how can fight/prevent cavities? Is there no possible way? I mean sure brushing initially helps but don't we need more? And doesn't fluoride whiten teeth? Although, Crest Whitestrips' main ingredient is not fluoride.. or is it? blink.gif
