that VMA was terrible... no host, too many unecessary conversations, not many good performers: Alicia Keys with Stevie Wonder and Lenny Kravitz was brilliant though...
the awards were given out to undeserving artist... I hadn't really looked at the nominations beforehand but the hip hop video of the year was just terrible... only respectable song they had in there was Kanye West - All Falls Down and the rest of the songs were more like pop/hip hop songs... it was retarded... and how the f*ck did "Hey Ya" win video of the year... that's just pitiful....the nominations and awards given out were retarded... and why was the nominations for Linkin Park not for the song "Numb" cuz "Numb" is a MUCH better song than Breakin' the Habit IMO.... I think the video is doper and more meaningful as well... I think the worst VMA since Shawn and Marlon Wayne's hosted it... straight up pitiful |

I watched an hour of it and just went to sleep. Most boringest VMA's i've ever seen for just a third of it.
But the major reason is because they had to tone things down just like every show nowadays. The FCC won't ever forget about the Halftime incident. |

Eh, it was ok.
 But it's not nearly as good as the other ones. I liked the Kanye West performance and Alicia Keys with Stevie Wonder and Lenny Kravitz.
