[FONT=Arial]There is this guy who lives right across the street from me.His name is Patrick.I moved to this street like in March and ever since the first time i laid eyes on him I started to develop this feeling that i never ever felt before.When i sleep its him and when i wake up its him all over again.I told him i liked him once and then one day he told me to come outside and chill with him.Somehow i acted real stuck up towards him and his friends.He told me that he was really pissed at me and told me to go home.I was so hurt of his reactions to what i've done i actually cried.Then i chatted to Patrick's friend online on aol instant messenger and he told me that he was really piss that i ignored him and stuff like that,but deep inside i knew that i was really shy...Things kinda changed a bit.Patrick came knocking on Monday and asked if i could come outside and chilled with him and his friends.That was a day for me to redeem myself and i think i did a great job showing him what im all about.Then i saw him one night coming from somewhere and he said hi to me and told me he would talk to me the next day but he never did.i really like him and his friend told me that he really liked me too.His friend said he had a girl but i cant tell if he has one.i really like him..what can i do im so confused.

Ask the boy if he has a girlfriend. If he doesn't, ask him on a date. Even though you're shy, get up the courage to do it. It'll all be worth it in the end.

just ask him if he has a girlfriend. but do it casually, be like "so..i hear the school dances this year are gonna be really focused on couples..got a girlfriend or someone to go with?" |

like everyone else said, find out if he has a girlfriend, if he does, don't be too hurt. if he doesn't take a risk. but once more, don't be hurt if he rejects you. before you do ask him, know that he may say know so don't be too hurt. sorry if i seem too sound negative, but if you get your hopes up too high, there is still a small chance he will say no, and you will be extremely sad. just sayin from expierence.

try to get to know him, just think about it, 5 years from now are you going to say "dammit i should've at least get to know him, but its too late now" or "i tried to get to know him but it didn't work out'?

well dont feel too bad for that mistake that you made.. everyone makes mistakes... and wen you like someone things get even weirder.. if he actually likes you.. he will have to decide if he wants to make a further move.. like break up with his gf.. or whatever.. so talk to him if u can.. and dont trust completely everything that someone else tells you.. its better to get stuff like that from the actual person..

yeah i agree with everyone else too, but its okay to make mistakes. everyone does. just find out if he has a girlfriend, and if he doesn't - go for it. its hard i know, but its worth it.
