Probably brushing too hard. You might have plaque under your gums, that can cause some discomfort also.

dont brush as hard, and just brush a little longer
and floss so your gums will be healthy
it shouldnt hurt after that

Mmm I used to have sensitive teeth. There was a stinging in my tooth. I don't know if that's what you're talking about, though. But um...yeah I got sensitive toothpaste or something like that and it helped somewhat. Now I'm fine.

man does that suck. do you floss your teeth because when you dont sometimes it could cause you teeth to become sensitive. try not to brush soo hard if you do. and floss.
