Censorship on CB

Sooo CB decided to bleep out some of my favorite words and insted of just bleeping out one letter, they change the words to the gayest things: examples- b*tch is now "female dog," "sh!t" is now "****," @sshole is now "A-Hole." Okay. First off, i am extremely opposed to the omission of the word B!TCH. It is allowed on all PG-13 movies, and not only that, but allowed on TV. If it offends whoever made these censors, too bad, but unless the little kids who are on CB are offended by watching everyday TV, this particular censor is ridiculous. Now seriously, if you want to make CB a family safe environment that's cool and all, but they're going to start becoming the main consensus of CB and you're probably going to lose the older kids. Not that you find anything wrong with this, but if you guys (the ones who invented or applied this wonderful censor) enjoy seeing forums made by 9 year olds and enjoy conversing with them, be my guest, but count me out. You're all trying to make cb rated G- G for GAY.

or cb could have a filter option like how browsers have filter options or how your email can filter certain stuff

filtering won't really work. ex.

you can try filtering out as many words as you want, but ppl will find ways around them to say the same thing

no kidding. the censorship's getting pretty crazy. not only with words but also with pictures.

you know trish's underoos thread in the pictures section?... it was all good a few months ago, but now i had a similar picture as all of those in a new thread and it got deleted for content. i dunno... we should say this is a rated g site from now on.

it kinda sucks, but we hafta deal with it.

True but if you're aiming for an audience that isn't ready for even common television, change your guidelines and description to fit those who are younger. Even with all your silly filters and insane rules, people are still offended by it.

Anyways, for all those WHAT COLOR R UR SOCKS and WUTS UR FAVORITE NUMBER....most of the time, the maker doesn't even give a crap what other ppl say. Some of them just want to feel special by starting a thread.

I don't even know what point [if any] I'm trying to prove.
