Just wondering if anyone had these albums. I wanna know which one to buy, I can only buy 1. I'm kinda leaning towards the Postal Service. What bands would you compare these bands to?

Both of them are pretty much the same. I love Postal Service though. I have the Postal Service's Give up. I say you go with Postal Service

I don't have either album, but I like both, I think Postal Service is better than Death Cab.

The comment on them sounding the same .....
Ben Gibbard IS a part of Postal Service AND Death Cab For Cutie for gods sakes ... so I'd imagine them sounding the same. Personally I like Death Cab For Cutie much better .... I'm not much for the electronic poppy sound. DCFC all the way .... Transatlanticism is the way to go |

It depends on what you like. If you like a softer mellow sound go for Death Cab. If you like an electronic poppy sound as someone else described it then get The Postal Service. I prefer The Postal Service but get what you think you would like
