2 gig, search messages feature, labels instead of folders, organized conversations (open the first email you sent to someone, and you can read wat they responded with, what you said back, etc as well), being internet-rad, umm
i got my gmail in june, and never got any invites.  i've used 4%, joining up for newsletters, directing xanga subs, lj comments, and other stuff to that account. |

i wish i could have gotten an invite
ive looked in the livejournal communities and people are charging MONEY for a freakin email account crazzzy greedy people =) ohwell. if your a kind soul you would invite me

i have gmail! it's good i guess..cuz it really sorts out the spammy crap..and it has like a 1000mb capacity so you'll never hafta delete anything...yeah i got it cuz a friend of my brother works at google...i never even knew it could be a job!

i have one invite.
how to invite people - after a while (2 months for me and i got ONE measly invite, you must prove yourself worthy) there will be a red link on the left side saying "Invite a friend to Gmail!" in fact, here's a screenshot.

B*tch.  Well, basically you can view all of it in conversation mode, collapse and contract the conversations. You can do a search in your mail, and of course, the practically unlimited space, and the quickness of google. |

yeah i have gmail too... its cool
i started using it late june cuz my SAT instructor had a cousin who worked for google and so my instructor got invited and i asked him for an invite... pretty cool. and all that "i've been using it for hecka long and got only 1 invite"??? i've been using if for month and a half and already had six come my way. its not as fruffy (sp) as yahoo or hotmail... no calender, the contact list format sux. but the organization of your mail that they allow you is better than than the traditional email accounts. for people like me who are members of filesharing sites... such as pianofiles.com... its hella more usefull than yahoo cuz of the lg attachments and stuff like that. and you get to keep everything. i used to be one of those people on yahoo who deleted everything. if it wasnt important like account info then it would go into the trash. but now i just leave it there. no worries they're spam protection is pretty top notch too... its not always good but hey atleast its there |

I use it, its actually very nice. Btw, the number of invites you get depends on how many emails you send. If you send a lot in the first few weeks you'll get stacked with invites.
