Okay, I need someone to answer this timeless question:

What in the world is the Difference with AZN and Asian, (except for formalities and spelling)?

I noticed a lot of folks are all up on AZN PRYDE or some variation of that. What's the deal? I have nothing against Asian Pride (AP).

I'm proud to be asian and all, but I wish i didn't say it so many times before. lol.

Azn, is a slang word for "Asian," we pronounce it as "Ay-zee-en."

Asian, is a decent word describing the people living in Asia. It is pronounced as "Ay-shan."

I hope that helps. happy.gif

dont be stereotypical... not EVERYONE who writes with azn go around the place screaming "AZN PRIDE! AZN PRYDE! O YEAHH! AZNS RULE" okay? it's just another abbreviation. And people are chatting here.. not doing an essay

haha XD me and my friend used to make fun of people who typed azn-ish. we called them the black asians. (asians who acted all gangster..it's like white people acting gangsta. it just doesn't work.)

this was in both of our infos for quite some time:
AzN pRyDe Y0o0o0o!! XD XP O_O

..see..some people use the faces in like.......4 in a sentence..that's too much >< i only use them on occasion. (well look at that..like just now! :P)

There no different except in the way people write it. Some asians or AZN type like that to sound gangsta but their nothing except in the way people write it. I think it the same thing.

Yeah I think it's the same thing too. Like other above it's just an abbreviation like lol. They're not "gangsta" or "wannabes," at least not all of them. I always type asian because i'm used to it.

eh, it's just basically the 'slang' term for 'asian'... I think that most of the people that use 'azn' usually types in slang... I hate typing in slang, to me it makes me seem less intelligent... yeah it's not like i'm writing an essay paper or whatever, but still... it's nice to type regularly. _smile.gif

i dont think it matters. the way a person types doesnt always define who they are. and guess what? i dont spell it neither way. i spell it A-S-N. :) im too lazy to type out the whole word. yet i dont like the other way either cuz i dont know where the Z comes in.

it annoys me when people say "azn".. i don't know why, it's like you don't have 30 more milliseconds to type 2 extra letters to actually spell it correctly. whistling.gif
