Does FOB stand for fresh off the boat? Sorry, I'm not too up to date with these terms.

I live in Hawaii, where pretty much everyone is Asian or some mixture of cultures. It's like a big melting pot, so I've never been called that. I think I would be offended if I went to the mainland (the 48 contiguous states) and was called a FOB.

hm.. yea it does. A LOT.

so i just rant on about how i'm FRESH OFF THE PLANE and NOT THE BOAT and tell them how lifeless they are and has a problem of lack of brain oxygen so they turn out to be very slow in learning
and then tell them i forgive them for their stupidity.

mellow.gif

and then they just stand there looking at me.

I'm born in Houston, so they can't call me a FOB. lol And it doesn't bother me because I'm that type of person that always has something to say back. :D

For example. "Ching chong ching chong. Oh, look I'm speaking Chinese."
Me: Okay, if you're going to mock my language, can you at least make a better impression of it? cuz ching chong ching chong aint one of them.

Something like that. Just talk back. :D
