maroon 5, anyone listen to em before they got big? |

about two years ago, i was at target and i saw a cd for 8.99, so randomly, i bought it, lol.. It was maroon 5 and i totally fell in love with them, haha.. Harder to Breathe didnt come out until the next summer, so no one knew who they were when i listened to them, and talked about how awesome they were..
now, two years later, theyre totally huge and its awesome, but i'm just wondering, is there anyone here who liked maroon 5 before they became all big and hot, or did you start listening to them when "this love" came out? And im wondering if anyones heard of Kara's Flowers, or has their cd.. Kara's Flowers was mostly maroon 5, give or take a few people... |

nope. but i dont pretend like i do, so its all good. i started liking them wen harder to breathe came ou ton the radio.. thats still my fave single from them. ( fave song is through with you)
but i felt the same way with yellowcard. a year before their first hit song went on the radio i was listening to the CD non-stop. i dont mind that more ppl like them now, it justr got really annoying to hear "there's this NEW band ,with their brand NEW hit song ..." like uh no, that came out last yr.. move on. |

I didn't even listen to them even when they were big. The only Maroon 5 tracks I listen to are the ones off the accoustic album from last year. Mhmmm!

Yes actually. I was at Target and I got it the week it first came out. I heard Harder To Breathe and I loved the song!! I'm sorta pissed now that they are HUGE. I know the words to all of their songs in their, and when people try to sing it and dont get the words right, I'd be down their throat with a knife. LOL! I'm weird. lol I wont lie, I didnt know who they were until Harder to Breathe came out. theres not many bands that I had been listening to before they got really big..except Dashboard Confessional.

I didnt know about them till harder to breathe came on VH1. Then i was was like man who are these guys? And no one really cared about them for a couple of months and then all of a sudden they got huge. lol

i just hated it when the popular tri-state radio station said that 'Harder to Breathe' was a new song even though it was out months and months ago. By the way, how the hell did they win best new artist when they are old?

I did! And I got my cd at Target too! Lol....But I think it's been the best investment ever coz when they got big I had to burn about 10 copies of my cd for people... Lol
