Hum.. no one has really called me a fob unless it was a joke even though I was born in HK and i speak cantonese to some friends a lot. I wouldn't really care if they did though, cause my parents would prob. be considered a fob too. In fact, one of my friends think im fobilicious because all the fobs like me.

I call other kids fobs tho.. And most of them only because they were BORN HERE and they still act like one. I mean, everyone around you speaks english, and you weren't even born there so you shouldnt even BE considered a "fresh off the boat'' but you act like one.. it just bugs me

Well, It's sort of the opposite for me, alot of people assume I'm Korean or Japanese, but that's a different story.

Anyways, it doesn't really bother me, unless someone is being racist about and and says something like "Your such a FOB, you chink/gook/ect." and if they actually MEAN that, then i'll get pissed, but most of the time everyone says it jokingly. Heck! I even call people FOBs and they know I'm joking about it, b/c I <3 FOBs to death
