xanga skins...., how do u make em'? Options

i mean, u can take stuff from here N there N make a layout, but HOW do you really make 1, i mean realli make it from scratch, i wanna learn, all mi layouts r codes from here N there, i feel lyke i'm a moocher or sumthin, PLZ!!!!! sum1 teach mi da wayz of da XANGA SKIN MAKER (will accpet ANYONE! as a teacher as long as they have had experiecnce in makin a skin layout for xanga)

ive made a couple skins...heres what i've gotta say:

1) it'd be a good idea to have a strong foundation with HTML...i know too many people who tried learning skin making off the CB tutorials here w/o a single knowledge of HTML...the results arent pleasant.

2) take it slow; trial and error is a critical matter. if its your first time with skins, try simple stuff.

3) Learn how to use Photoshop for the images.
