If you're going with creationism, then the chicken did. God created the animals outta nothing. So like, no egg.

If you're going with evolutionism, then the egg did. No matter what kind of weird animal the chicken decended from, there has got to be an egg that incubated it. The chicken couldn't just have appeared from nowhere.

No one would be able to disprove EVERYTHING in a religion's beliefs. Many of the beliefs were formed by word of mouth and no written documentation as proof. Religion entails beliefs that exist with no other particular reason other than to help guide us through life and make it more bearable with faith and explanation for the things we cannot fully understand. Therefore, I'd still believe in my religion because i have faith that what it is based on will always hold true.
