z-index, layers not working |

Somehow my z-index codes are being ignored. My left side module's z-index is 2, and my main blog's z-index is 1. However, my main blog is still above the module. This causes the links on the module to be unclickable. Please help! Thanks! |

If you're trying to get rid of the hr at the bottom, use because I don't see a problem, everything's aligned for me.
