Maybe you should continue for at least 2 weeks and try to get to know him better, because your friend might just be lying..or not.

Just wait it out a bit, see how things go. You two haven't been together long and if he's willing to wait for that first kiss then you'd know to believe him over your friends. Just take things day by day and see how things go!

well, you've only been going out for two days, and if he says that he is willing to wait until your ready to kiss, you should thank him for that. if he tries to kiss you and he had said that he was going to wait...then he isn't worth your time, because he lied. so i would just test the waters for about a week or two and go from there. Also, you say your friend told you that he just wants to go out with you just so he can make out? how does your friend know that?
