Age difference. Does it matter? Well i know it matters if the person is 18+ but what I mean is, does it matter when its like a 4 year difference? [ ex. 13 yr. dating a 16 yr old. ]. I'm a freshwoman in highschool and my bf is in 8th grade. I feel a bit awkward about it because the boyfriends i had was atleast 2 years older than me. He's only 4 months younger than me. Is what im feeling a bit ridiculous?

And for all the ladies, have you dated a guy younger than you?

I wouldnt go over 10 years in age difference..cause thats gettin kinda creepy-ish, but even up to 9 or 10 years difference really shouldnt matter once their both over 18. As long as theres that connection, I dont see why age should matter.

it don't really matter unless it was like a really big age difference like 40 years and your just dating that person for what he/she got. money. house. car. etc...

It shouldn't matter.
To some, it does, but I don't think it should..

Unless you're 12 and the other is 24.. that's just.. weird.. wacko.gif

well.. this is just how i see it:
i dont think the girl should really be older than the guy. but if you're in like middle school and your just one grade older, then that's okay. but im pretty sure things'll get akward when u get into hi skool and he's jsut graduating in the year to come.
age doesnt really matter though. my mother is 3 years senior to my dad. and i always thought that was weird-- especially cause my mom sometimes refers to him as being "immature" which sometimes, he is, and its pretty odd. ermm.gif

it doesnt matter tho. happy.gif "its about the love really"

x3 dont sweat it. 4 months-- heh. my cousin likes a dude one grade her junior, and technically, hes like 2 years younger than her.

my parents are 10 years apart and my uncle & aunt are 15 years apart and they're both happy. but then again, since this is only our teen years... i dont think it matters. just as long as you're happy =)

I never truly understand why people say its acceptable to be 26 and have a 21 year old bf/gf but not acceptable to be 21 and have a 16 year old bf/gf. Its the same age span...and if you guys say that age doesn't matter then it shouldn't matter in any case may it be a 26 and a 21 year old or a 21 and a 16 year old.

You shouldn't feel ashamed because most of the girls I have dated are older than me and they didn't feel ashame...or at least thats what they tell me...haha lmao...

I don't see anything wrong unless it's like a 10 year or more difference. Then, I would get a tad uncomfy.
