eh, i think band people are like normal kids, but can play an instrument. some of my friends are in the band and they're normal.

marching band is hard, it takes a shitload of work, it aint all easy and crap. i have band camp this and next week, 9 hours a day, 5 days a week. Then its marching season which is 16 hours a week until december

I don't have any stereotypes or false beliefs about band "geeks".

ooh i used to be one! it was fun times...hahaha i'm in choir now so yeah. but band wasn't all that bad. i got to go to disneyland when i was in senior band so there! tongue.gif

well i'm a band geek so we're just normal people. some people in band are reallly devoted to band and musik. others (like me) like it but would rather do somethin else. then thtere are people u just suck at band and hate it totally.

I admire you! Wonderful speech, just speaks about every single word I want to say. For the people who said we're "just playing music," that is SOOOOO wrong. I'm really stressed, because it's just my first year and they intend to jam everything in my head. I have to march, practice this hard music that's like 2-4 levels higher than me...

Not to mention I can't march well still, right about now. And I can't comprehend on the commands as fast, nor can I play the music 100%. >< If being in band means you're a "geek" then at least it takes hard to be a band geek. It looks harder than it is, and it already LOOKS HARD!
