Don't even sweat what everyone is saying once your time comes you will know exactly what to do. people do it different styles so do what come natural to you as long as you aren't OVERdoing it or not doing enough. Be firm yet gentle and dont make it too sloppy wet of a kiss or a dry crusty kiss and you should be alright.

here's my explanation: you make sure your heads are positioned at different directions... so it will be easier to lock your lips together... if i were you, i wouldn't lean toward my partner with an open mouth... no one wants to kiss a fish. lol. as soon as your lips touch that's when you open your mouth to kiss. then gently massage your tongue against his/her tongue. there you have it... that's how i see it i guess.
