is anyone else experiencing their computer slowing down when they get on a meduim size topic because of all the big or/and animated graphics? I think maybe we should have a rule or something...

mines not really that big... I mean like not banners but the sigs like all the little unnessicary animations and stuff like that it slows everything down!!

i dont mind, as long as u have a cable n it takes like 15 seconds to load up a page, then i think ur fine. if u have dial up or somethin, then i feel sorry for you..

it being big isn't that bad. but also noobs and stuff have all these little graphics and crap can't you people just keep it simple?

grrr... I do I have dial up *cries

Ehm, I don't consider my signature to be big. sometimes I see ones that span half the height of my computer monitor

Hm.. well a signature should be about 580 pixels (length) by 300 pixels(length) max. But we've been letting some people slide if they have a siggy close to those requirements. Oh yea, and your signature shouldn't be more than 100 kb combined. Meaning any images on your signature shouldn't be more than 100 kb in size. We have the power to delete any large signatures if necessary.

I guess, your talking about the image size? Wah..I feel your pain, dial up and large sized images aren't fun.

yeah, me too. i have dial up too and it lags sometimes.

im sorry? i would change mine to a SMALLER size but i don't know how to and im not cutting a thing, its already been cut.

lol, yours is almost wallpaper size...thats just ridiculous. i dont think mines THAT big...not enough to slow down dial-up imo

Yeah, i posted a similar topic awhile back, and yeah, it does kill , both my comps speeds. Seriously, its starting to be an issue.

However, I'll be at skool in one more week and that means like T-1 speed for me!!!
