hi , im not sure if this is in the right forum but heres my question....

Everytime i want to save images, my saving menu only offers my to save images in bitmap format..... is there a way i can make it give me more format options?

and i also found out i can save stuff into the format i want by just typing .(format) after the name.....but that doesnt really help because when i save .GIF images, it doesnt save all of the frames, so the image is still and doesnt have its animation..... can anyone help me with my problem?

yep, try clearing your browser's cache or deleting all the files in your temporary internet files folder then try saving the image again. this time the option to save as a gif or jpeg should also appear.

If all else fails:

Open the image as a .bmp in MS paint, click Save as, and change the format.

save it as a bmp, then go back and save it again as a different type of file.

save it as a bmp, then go back and save it again as a different type of file.

That doesn't solve the problem. She wants to save ANIMATED gif files, and if you save it as a gif after you opened as a bmp, you wont save all of the frames.

Don't you have that thing where it says something like "Save as web"? Are you using Photoshop? Because if you are, that's how I normally save it.
