i'm definitely not racist.. even tho i'm white, i definitely can see why ppl might have a grudge against them, i know i do.. but i think it's really stupid how ppl might not like another person because of their color, even if it's from past experiences... ok yea, no one deserves to be treated badly, but it's just cuz that's the kinda of bitchy, racist ((maybe)), mean person they are...
it's wierd tho cuz i live in ga too, but i go to the 'ghetto' school... some ppl don't like me cuz they assume i'm just another stuck up white girl... blehhhh. it sucks cuz they don't know me.  but i guess that's just how things work... *sigh*

Sometimes I'm just like "Wow, that black guy is really nice. Holy ****, did I just say that? Wow, that was racist and very rude. Why should I care what race he is? God, it's not like I don't know black people that are nice. Jesus, Liz. That's not cool."

Well when the past experience is traumatic enough, you won't volunteerily be racist.
err..how do i say this.. Like, fo rme, I don't want to get all different aroundthem, but my brain tells me it could happen again, and then I just non volunterily get more alert and suspicious. Trauma affects the brain in crzy ways. |

I was at Denny's, the African American waiter overheard our table's CHinese and piped in in fluent Mandarin.
CRAZY not racist or anything, just never heard a black guy talk mandarin so well. |
