okay, this topic is dumb... you answered your own question! and you obviously don't know what a stereotype is, do you??? and yes, I know it's just a question, and no, i'm not all 'booty hurt" or whatever... but you KNOW that not all "azns" are short, because you mentioned Yao Ming already... so what more do you need to know.. that just proves that not all 'azns' are short... and yes, a majority of ASIANS are short... but not all of them are...

I think in straight up asia there are shorter asians compared to the U.S. born/raised asians.

However, I was just in asia last week and comparing their height from last time i visited (1999) to the most recent (summer 2004), them asians are starting to be around 5'6" 5'7", and a ew 5'8"'s. But most are 5'5" or 5'6"

hmm...well i guess i consider my "short" since im 4'11 but my sister (who is in her 3rd year of college), shes only 4'9, 4'10. Then again, theres also my friend whos an 8th grader who is 6'4. So there's exceptions to everything i guess.

THere are plenty of them out there...I know many that are above 6 feet tall. I don't consider myself tall yet I dont consider myself short either. i'm about 5'6...not too shabby for an asian girl eh? =P
