i got braces in march...when i got them my mom suggested that i eat soft foods but i was so stubborn and said i wanted a burger and fries..one bite of a fry and i couldn't even chew it becaue it hurt so much.
my advice..eat lots of pudding, ice cream, soup and jello. xD it'll be fine in a week...if you have to eat solid food break it into small pieces and swallow it whole.. |

that sucks. i had braces before but it was only for a year. and it didn't hurt. don't worry i'm sure the pain won't last forever. sorry i can't really give you any advice.

ice cream worked 4 me but just be careful cuz one time it was so cold that it froze the glue and my bracket broke. o and once the pain goes away use wax cux ull get alot of kanker soars....but but in the end ull be happy and have a purty smile juss like me
 (only 2 mor years of this retainer than im FREEE)
