*sigh* Well, first off you need a paint program such as Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, or Gimp (tutorials can be found here). From there you just use your own creativity.
You can check Xanga Skins to find some nice ready made skins that are already coded for you... |

hm...i just google an image, and then add stuff with paint, thats prolly why my banners were so bad...oh well...just s suggestion, and a good image mapping site if your making a navi banner is
image mappin very good and simple
