Don't do it, I personally think you're too young for it. You'll probably regret it later on in life. Think about it . . . are you going to be doing gymnastics all your life? If you think you are then think about the ups and downs of the surgery. Good Luck on your decision.

I can see how your breasts might get in the way (because I'm a gymnast too) but I think 15 is way too young to be doing anything to your breasts..

I don't know too much about it. But you are still young and if you do go for it, you might regret it later on. So give it some time and think about it.

don`t think you should do it. later on in life, it might be good to have big breasts & it`s not like you will be doing gymnastic forever. having surgery hurts enough & it might also hurt your body & health.

Wait till you're older. Most girls get it because it effects their back.
If you really want to, talk to your doctor and parents. |

So, I have come up with a fail proof way to do it yourself. This might sting just the tiniest bit, so i suggest you drink heavily before you do this, to better sooth the nerves. You or a friend can do this, i suggest you do it yourself, but whatever makes you happy This is what to do in order. Step 1- Make a small incission right below each breast with a flat edged razor (if you do not have a flat edged razor handy, you can use a regular razor blade Step 2- Don't be shy, reach under neath the skin and begin pulling out the fat tissue (remember to place all of it in a plastic bag so you can sell it later to soap making companies, that stuff is hard to get!!) Step 3- when you have pulled out the desired amount of fat tissue, take a needle and thread and begin sowing your skin back together (JUST LIKE IN ART CLASS!!! And when you are done, TAA-DAA!!! you have smaller breasts, and you didnt spend a dime. In fact you will make money from selling the fat! Im glad i could help. |

It's like liposuction. They stick a tube in your boob, and suck tissue out. Watch out for infection
I seriously don't think you should get it at your age, but if your parents agree, i guess it would be alright |

Well. I'm 20 years old and 40D (it started w/ 36D when i was 14 and it gradually grew every year)
I would consider breast reduction if i have any problems with my back/shoulders due to the heaviness of the breasts. But i haven't had that kind of problem because I wear the right bra and im sure they have sport bras for those who has big breasts. Talk to your parents about it, go see a doctor and see what's his opinion. If i were you, i wouldn't change/reduce my breast size just to be more active in the gymnasium. If you are still considering it, go for it but be AWARE of the risks. |

i ahve heard ALOT about it, actually [even at my a cup size, im aware...lol]. gosh, 40 d? thats tough. :[. though they are risks[ like maybe not being able to breats feed] the rewards are MUCH higher. such as reduced back pain, and a higher self confidence. the price is steep though; consult your insurance agency for help paying [and of course your parents!]. since its for health reasons, they price will be reduced [mushc like your breasts!] greatly. also, you can converse with your doctor before hand about what size you want, much like someone wanting implants. i hope i helped! also, look it up online. ;]

I read in a magazine (It was either YM or SEVENTEEN) about a girl who got breast reduction.. and her chest started bleeding... as if where the incision was made, it wasn't clearly/fully sewn up. And she had to stay at the hospital for a few weeks longer. it was very dangerous and risky, but she got a breast reduction, which was good for her because she had sever backpains. But even so, it was still dangerous. I suggest you consult with a doctor, as well. And maybe you should wear sports bras when you go to sleep, maybe it might help keep your breasts from growing or something, idk.
