i don't really think popularity is important. back inlike 5th & 6th grade that's all we worried about. now i'm pretty much friends with everyone .. and i don't care what others think of me either.

i'd hate to be popular, being surrounded by ass kissing people who only want to be seen with you so they can achieve some sort of status
 plus, it's not like you're going to do things because you want to, it's so you can keep your popularity. people will hate you and your friends will be two faced and plan your demise. sure it's nice to be cool and glamorous but once you get shoved off the pedestal, you're trash. you'll be treated worse than the people who never were popular |

it all depends what definition you give to popularity.
really, it means having a lot of friends. i think its important to have a lot of friends, but friends who actually want to be friends with you and vice versa. i dont know about everyone else, but i depend on friends a lot...not necssarily to ALWAYS be there for me, just to be a nice person who, if they're there, i can talk to. popularity as in, the whole status thing, is bullshit. everyone will grow out of it eventually, i assume. and hope. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- edit. In my school it deff is. I always wanted to be cool and fit in...and now that i do, i miss being invisible lol. Well not totally invisible but only noticed by a few. It`s way to much pressure, and everyone looks up to you and expects you to be perfect. Its alot of work.

somehow...i am really popular, and dude its retarded. i dont know why i am...im a crazy ass mother f**ker who is pretty much antisocial to people who arent my friends...and im extremely rude...like if someone i dont know says hi...im like GET THE f**k AWAY FROM ME...blaa blaaa...but thats just me... its really annoying, like in the mornings i go down a hall thats not mine and its the only time me and my boyfriend get to talk all day -5 mins...and all these ppl i dont know or reconize try talking to me im just like ALKSJELAWOJASLSJD!!!! tell you the truth i'd rather be invisible...
