Having "faith" doesn't save a person from being killed by a lethal disease. Sure there are miracles, but tell me how many times miracles save someone with cancer or Aids or Mad Cow. i havent prayed for world peace nor should anyone in the bible it speaks of a coming peace. yes i have seen people cured of cancer after prayer. My uncle, My aunt, This lady from church who had breast cancer. dont assume they arent possible. There is a plan and ask and ye shall recieve. if you have faith you will recieve what you want, but the tricky part is sometimes you dont know what you really want.

As a kid I used to believe in God.
Now that I look back on it, all I really did was talk to Him once in awhile. I wouldn't pray every night or anything, I'd just apologize, or ask for something. @_@ Not the way to do things. My parents didn't raise me to believe in God, because they're very sensible, and they thought that my brother and I should find our own religions. |

How do you know that it was not technology and science that cured cancer instead of prayer?
