QUOTE(bhrama @ Jul 20 2004, 8:25 PM)
....oh darn, don't know who Nader is...i wonder though, is that a good idea...to be for it??  there's all these religious groups who are tryin to protect the so called sanctity of marriage so it might not be a good idea to support it... i think it might be best to tackle that topic once u get in the white house. and well, i think that kerry might have a chance of givin gay people the right to get marry if he gets elected...even thought he says he's against it right now, he's done things that say otherwise

I don't think that would be wise. That would mean that he would lie to the people thus becoming a greater hypocrite. I think that the people should know what the candidates are "for" to make this election as honest as can be. Doubt that will ever happen though.

More about Nader <-- There's a link about Ralph Nader if you wanna see it.

ok if i could vite it would be for kerry. whos said he was against gay marragies? if i remember correctly hes for. but thats not the point. ok basically even if kerry is for the war, there is always a smart way to fight a war and a wrong way. i am confident in saying that i trust that kerry knows the right wat to fight a war. i do not trust someone who was a-wall for a while year wen he was meant to be in the service.i dont trust someone who cant talkin full sentences. and i certainly dont trust someone who attacks a country that had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks ffrom 9-11. NO IRAQIS WERE INVOLVED IN THE ATTACKS.

so why are we at war with iraq? well for a few reasons.
1.during the guld war when Bush sr. was president saddam tried to assasinate him. Bush would like to get back at him for this (to put it bluntly)

2. He wants to make iraq a democratic country. ok if a country wants to change its government an outside power CAN NOT do it for them. it is teh COUTRYS decisions and the people of that country who must make that decision

3. i am not in favor of putting cluster bombs or daisy cutters (wich are the biggest non-nuclear weapon) in highly populated residential areas in wich 10,000 iraqis have been killed just to find something that we now know is that there.

loseronisle5 i like that u started this topic

Isn't Kerry getting all the rich people's votes? And plus, I want to pick neither, but Bush done pretty much everything he could do to handle the 911 situation. If I was in his position, I'll just....go krazie. lol pretty much. I would have no idea how to handle it. _dry.gif Yeah..
