I myself don't know. I always asked the question, how do you know if you're going to feel the same way to the same person forever? I'm thinking when you get married, it seems like you're lying to each other. There are going to be times when the road ahead gets bumpy but I don't get how you can stay in love for some long.

there will always be constant trials and tribulations in each relationship .. there is no given time limit that proves your love is true .. god will always tests everyone to see if what they have is real .. and the only time i truly feel that a love is real is if it's one that lasts to the death ..

i think love could last an extremely long time but only if both people love each other truely. if you just can't live without them, then i think it's love & it will last as long as your feelings do.

personally i really doubt that love can last forever, if you look at it, most of the relationships these days usually just ends up in the 2 people breaking up sooner or later. marriages usually ends up in divorce 50% of the time, but hey thats just statistic, it don't really matter.

I love a person a lot right now and it's just the feeling you get in your heart. When your around the person your the happiest camper alive, or you just wanna hold that person forever, or talk to that person. You just love being around them, and if you aren't your heart feelz like something is missing..and it hurtz really bad. Love just doesn't end at all the "good feelings" u have inside. You love that person no matter what pain they cause. You just love them for who they are, and what you become when your around them.

yes, love supposed to be forever but sometimes they jus let it go...cause there prolly be a reason to break up-_-;;; but anyways if u want to keep ur love strong... listen to her 24/7..help her no matter what. help her feelings. make her happy. dont let the nightmare go towards her...protect her like u reallie love her....i think that's sweet then.

You just love them for who they are, and what you become when your around them. too true. i feel the same way. but love is a feeling that is so easy yet hard to explain. it's a very strong feeling towards a person. but sometimes you think you love someone, but later on in life, you realize it wasn't quite love but a very strong like. but in the future, if still with this person after a long time, i think you'll know if it is truly love or not. and i believe you can love at any age, though it might be a different love in a way but its still love.

i have been in love with the same woman for the past 1 year 5 months, and it took breaking up for a period of time to realize how much we both truly do love each other. She has dated others, while i have stayed single, and even though she has been with this one for like 2 months now she is constantly thinking of me. and she even told him that he cant handle her and even said my name while they had sex o.O serious no no lol. Anyway now that we started talking again cause its been awhile our love grew, lots lol.
Love is not just a feeling, its the things you do. Love for me is waking up and just smiling cause its a brand new day and i knowing i will get to see my baby on this day. Love is opening the door for her or taking her out to dinner. Love is the glow in your eyes you get just looking at the one you love as they stare back at you. Love makes you feel like there are no worries in this world. Such as unconditional love. Love is the kiss that haunts you, always wanting more. Love is when she places her hand and head on your heart and cries cause she is so happy to be with you. Love is the greatest gift you can bestow upon someone. But be careful love can easily be shattered. this i know first hand. Your first love is always the hardest, i know, just treat her right! and you will be fine. your probably already in love but blind to see it. also how old are you? |

love is sumthing that lasts forever, when i hear people say i love you i think they actually mean "im in love with you". because loving sumone and being in love with sumone is 2 different things...
love will last, when you are near or far apart... i hope i made some sense... |

I think love can last for a long time.. Just not forever... I have a friend who is still goin out with his girlfriend for months. I never saw him once w/o him calling his girl on his cell. He's dedicated to her. That's love!

call my cynical, but love doesn't last forever, unfortunately, people get tired of one another sooner or later and it will never be the same as in the beginning. now if you get married when your 40, and get bored of your significant other by 60, its probably easier just to live the rest of your life out with the other, so i guess you can say love can last forever that way. haha dont listen to me, im pessimistic, plus i get tired of a gf after 2 months. sigh
