i know people when i went! lol! well starting of high school is different than elementary, which means u dont c lil kids nomore. well to tell u it might be tough for yer u guys if you dunno know anyone. in hi. you get more work and more stuff to do. so i hope u guys are ready! it wont be the usual elementary days! good luck!

freshman year was great, i had lots of fun n i made even more... i didn't even seem like a freshman 2 anyone... da way i dressed n acted. yeahh well it's not as bad as ppl may say... depends where u go n stuff. sometimes the teachers r straight up asses.

Don't sweat it. High School is not as bad as you may think. I mean look at how many people have gone through it before you. When I went into high school as a freshman I was scared too, but I did have some friends that I knew so it was a little better. Don't worry about it though, you can make friends fast and sometimes easy, since you'll be around lots of people that are freshman too there is bound to be people that are in the same boat as you and need friends. Just let things go naturally and don't be stupid or a punk to other people. High school only sets you up for your LIFE, not how many friends you will have. Lots of people don't see there friends when they get out of school due to there jobs or college and what not. You'll only live through high school ONCE, so make it a good memory.

dont stress it high school is like heaven ^_^ , well some are atleast. no more dress code , u dont gotta eat cafeteria food, people there are more haWt, and ur gonna make tons of new friends quit stressin it . only crappy part about hs is whats crappy about others......homework test and projects. :-p

Freshmen year in HS is awesome its soo much different from ur Elementary and Middle schools. You all freak out b/c its high school but yeah its really layed back. Just dont act like a big shot nd stuff or else your gonna get hated on. Just act normal and everything will be fine. If you get lost, dont be afraid to ask for directions most other kids are happy to help you.

Hm.. well I thought Middle school would be like LIzzi McGuire, except not that show lol. But no, it's not really that scary. Because ALOT of shows have all that drama about high school and popularity. For me, IMO, I don't even KNOW who the popular group is. IMO, who cares? Unless people are power hungry lol. Anyways just go witht he flow and be nice to people so u can make new friends That's what I do. And personally, I'm a pretty wierd person so for people to even like me as a friend is amazing lol.

First day was the worst, I didn't know where anything was. Just ask a teacher or an upperclassman and you'll be fine.

My teachers didn't give us latenesses for the first week or so, because they knew it's hard to find the classes. Have fun, high school is not bad.

hs is as good and as bad as you make it to be. i've had some good experiences& some awesome experiences& some horrifying experiences in high school, but the thing is, just try to make the best out of the situation as you can. charge in there& dont be afraid to be yourself. make hs a wonderful experience, all 4 years of it. :D

Lol, for my fish year, everybody thought I was a junior (and now I am) because of my height. I'm 5'7.5". :D Lol, it's not that bad. I don't know about your schools, but at Westside High, it's a senior tradition to spray paint on the walls and toilet paper the whole school. So on the first day of school, right when you walk in, the sayings would be like "Go back to middle school" And then they draw a picture of a fish. All in all, neither of my short friends were picked on. Don't worry too much about it. I'm sure there are lots of nice people that would help you out, so don't sweat it. :D Oh yeah, so there goes the bad parts.

And the good parts...errmm.... Make more friends, get the chance to take college courses, hot guys :D OooOohwhee! No more yuckie cafeteria food, Lines aren't that long (for lunch) and plenty more. ^^ Yeaps.

highschool is pretty laid back and much more free than junior high school, once you get used to it youd be enjoying highschool, just act yourself

I wouldn't say that the High School years were the best of my life, but I did have a fun time growing up, making new friends, and learning skills that I still consider important.

If you're worry about academics, then trust me when I tell you: "don't slack off in your freshman year", because those grades will haunt you when senior year rolls along and you have to fill out those college aps and send in transcripts.

If you're worry about socializing, you won't die from not being in the 'popular' groups. You just have to keep your eyes/mind open (figuratively speaking) for prospective friends.
