I don't think skateboarding is a crime. It's more of something like a hobby something you enjoy. People with the "No Skateboarding" signs are just retarded. Their trying to take away the things that kids enjoy! >.< LOL Their just jealous they cant skate good biggrin.gif

Most adults think it's a crime because skaters use public rails, stairs, curbs, and walls as their skating places and whatnot.

Meh, just rip off their sow on badge and run away. They'll be mad that they have to ask their mommies to sow their badge back on.

But yea most of the "no skateboarding" signs i've seen are in business areas. I guess it's kind of the "no loitering" sign. They dont want you to take up space and ruin their stuff.

I've been skating off and on since I was 8... skating is not a crime! I've been kicked out of lots of places just for standing on the skateboard! I wasn't even moving. WTF?! One of my exes was taken to juvie for skating at a school site (he wasn't grinding or ruining any property). They asked him to leave and he wouldn't. They came back and they took him to juvie! They didn't actually put him in a cell, but I mean they took him there and made him call home and wait until his parents got there!

Over here there are barely ANY 'no skateboarding' signs, so when I went to the U.S. I was a bit shocked.

I love skateboarding and luckily, there's a brand new park quite near me.

Skating for me is standing on a board, propelling myself forward with my foot, and promptly crashing down to my ass.
