 The governor of New Jersey, James McGreevey, just announced that he is gay and had an affair with a man. He is resigning on November 15th. He is married and I believe has a child.What do you think about this? |

I think because he is gay he should not feel forced to resign and this should not affect who votes for him next time, i think it is stupid, but hey you cant help the people vote..

I heard about this on NPR in the car with my mom. Personally, I feel bad for his family because I'm sure this is really shocking and upsetting for them. I don't think it's a big deal that he's gay, just that he was having an affiar.

But to those that have not read the article, the Governor OPPOSED same-sex marriages throughout his campaign in 2002. The subtitle of the article also suggests that he is resigning and announcing his sexuality before an "expected sex-harassment lawsuit". |
