it would be nice to be optimistic and say that you two could make it through college but realistically it will be really hard, especially if you're far away. she's also younger than you...is she mature enough to handle it? more importantly, are YOU mature enough to handle the pressure of college girls? i'm not in college yet but i say...you're young. see whats out there.

I'm going to be a freshman this year, too. I'm also in a relationship, but the difference is that I'm dating someone my age, so we're going to be in college in the same area, so it might work out still.
However, I think it's hard to keep a relationship going if the person you're with is already a few years younger than you. There are lots of things to consider, like college life, and whether or not she'll demand a lot of attention from you. If I were you, I'd probably break it off because there's a whole different world out there. And think about this, do you like her as much as she likes you? If you don't, there's another thing to consider. |

well it's really up to you... to me, college isn't how its like in all the movies... where I go, everyone seems to just keep to themselves... if you see yourself having a future with her later on, then stay with her.. if not, then leave her...

The real question here is " Do you like her?" Even though you may be happy with her...realize that college is a place where you meet people and have new relationships. So...find out how deeply in love you are with her...(sounds like you are holding onto this relationship because SHE likes you, and not so much versa
However, everyone deserves the truth, so just tell her how you feel. The decision is really up to you. If you feel like you will meet new people who you might possiblity start a relationship with...then break off with her; spare her the heartache. But if you feel you totally are in love with her..keep her. But keep in mind: Do what feels right for you, you definitely don't want to stay in a relationship just because you don't want to hurt her <-- because in reality you are hurting her. If I were you, I would still date her. However, DURING college, if you do meet someone new, then break up with her. She'll understand the situation better. She'll understand that you are at a NEW place with NEW people and she just have to respect it. HOWEVER, if you break up with her now...maybe she'll think you are only dating her til college..kinda like a before-college-gf, and she might be really pissed at you. whoa...sorry..I didn't realize I wrote so much |

for some its good, for some it sucks. Do what u think is best, that means even leaving her.
I was in the same situation, but with a female long distant, and in college, with girls everywhere and down ur dorm, jeez, it's like horny heaven and mistakes happen... |

The best advice I can give you is...stay with her
But....remember if your in a different area code/city then things are a little different...have your fun...if you know what I mean!! |

i think it mainly depends on how far u two will be living from each other. If it's more than 2 hours away I say give it up.... if not, give it a shot. If you don't like her as much as she likes you... u will most likely break up once u go to college even if u decide to stay together. It's nice to have someone when ur starting something new.... but once you make friends and start mingling down there, it will all go downhill for ur relationship
