If someone make themselves suspicious, then cops will be suspicious. It's common sense. If cops are beating Blacks/Hispanics/Asians because of DISCRIMINATION, then they'd get sued, so AS IF criminals don't get compensation from being beaten.

What you say is totally stereotype. Yes, there are good cops and bad cops, but you made it sound like Blacks are the only one getting the heat. If you really want to get into who's more racist, I could say that Black cops are racists against Asians, too, because my Mom was pulled over while driving 48 in a 45mph zone by a Black cop and got a ticket for it. I was beat up by two Black males when I was 10 and walking home alone from school (no kidding either, I was bruised up pretty bad and they even fcuking WALKED on me when they finished having their fun).

My Mom is going to court to get rid of that ticket. She believes that because cops needs to give out a certain number of tickets by the end of the month, and that cop just needed one more so he pulled her over. Why not African-Americans? Because many (even not most -- a sizeable minority) are caught up in the past and refuse to take responsibility for today.

There are many successful African-Americans ... who do not practice what they preach (in a good way). Jesse Jackson, Johnny Cochran, etc., are people who say "race matters every day." But it doesn't. If you look at what they did in their private lives, they never thoguht to themsleves "oh, it's not my fault i'm poor, the white man is keeping me down" -- it is people who think like that who STAY down.

Every persecuted group in history -- including groups like the Chinese and Jews (10 million and 6 million killed in ethnic-based genoicdes, respectively) who have historically been persecuted much more than African-Americans -- has been able to rise to the top -- because their socieites didn't have people who were already at the top saying "It's not your fault, it's history's fault."

Responsibility is the key to liberty, and liberty is the key to a raceless society. On the other hand, the victim mentality is the key to big brother government and political correctness, which will only perpetuate racism forever.

when we use terms like white and black and asian and mexican, we assume all whites are the same and all blacks are the same and all asians are the same and all mexicans are the same. we also assume that all whites are different from all other races, and all blacks are different from all other races, and all asians are different from all other races, and all mexicans are different from all other races.

is the the word 'race' racist in itself?

ethnicity is just a euthinization of the word.

to classifiy someone as a certain race is the first step in treating them differently.

which is why, whenever possible, i scribble on the racist portion of the demographics section
