hi, can someone tell me how to do this in photoshop 7? i want to learn how to do the dropshadows on the picture...and also, is the green tape a brush? or is there a way i can make that too? thank you ^^;;

Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow

You need to be on a layer (not the background) for this to work tho.

i did that and my dropshadow looks like this


but i want it to look like the one i posted first...? anyone kno how to do that?

You want something like that right?

Well, here's what I did.
1) I made a new layer UNDER the green box
2) Then I selected the box and then did Select>Modify>Expand> 5 pixels and colored it black.
3) I then used Gaussian blur so that it wasn't solid.
4) Now I hit Ctrl T, right-clicked and choose rotate, and rotated it counter-clockwise a little.
5) Then I selected the part that I DIDN'T want to be visible and deleted it.
6) Then I used the airbrush tool to soften the edges (since you could tell where I deleted stuff)
7) Now I used the brightness and contrast (Image>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast) to make it a little lighter.
8) Then I merged the layers and voila! ^_^
