They work occasionally.
It's hard because you can't see each other as much, but it can happen.

well it really depends... like if you guys were together and then the guy moved or something like that...then it might slowly go fade.... cuz usually long distant relationships dont work...no offense though... especially if you met online... if ur nice you guy should remain friends...and tell him to seek someone for gf material...like someone around his area... cuz i know its really hard...since my bf went to california for the whole summer like its been a month already...

if you trust each other and you work with the time you can get to see each other you'll do just fine. i've been in a relationship for well over 3 years now and it's still going strong. it takes a lot of patience and constant effort from both sides though. communication is key. so make sure you guys talk everything out.

yea I had a long distance relationship but then again she lived in Australia and I Las Vegas. So it was a big difference. She use to live near me. It did not work but if she was just a couple hours away it probbly would of worked. Anyways im over it now. It was a hard thing to go through at the time ( really hard ). It was not so much of the lack of trust( becuase we trusted each other 100%) but more of the lack of not being to be with the person physically that made it not work out. cry.gif

QUOTE(Azarel @ Aug 2 2004, 7:26 PM)
Long distance relationships rarely work out usually because of lack of communication or lack of trust.

Yep, took the words right out of my mouth.

I didn't work. After my first day of school, i called to tell him how my day went adn he said, "We need to talk." Funny thing is, 1 of us talked, 1 of us got the crap kicked out of our emotions. Wanna guess who was who?

He just said, "I can't go out with you anymore."

he won't give me reason. he probebley won't give me the time of day anymore. he said he loved three days b4. I don't hate him...unless there was another girl. then i hate him. but until, i know the reason, my feelings are nutural. *sigh*
