maybe you`re just not as sure as what you think you are if you just can`t say yes . it could be a sign that you are not ready . but if you are, just say YES . it`s really THAT simple . it would be harder if you were that person asking someone out and getting rejected .

Maybe you like him, but you just don't wanna date him. I had that problem with my first boyfriend. He kept asking me out, and I just kept making excuses. I just didn't wanna date him cause I knew his reputation...turns out I shouldn't have.

Is it something that you just can't control, like the moment he asks you the word NO just pops out? Or is it that you're having second thoughts about if you want to go out with him or not?
If it's the 1st, you may be a little scared of boys. But if it's the 2nd, maybe you're a really cautious person and you don't want to rush into anything with somebody you don't know very well.

maybe you're scared and need assurance that it's right to go out with him. talk to him about it and break the ice so that he knows you reciprocate his feelings and he'll slow down and you can work together before you're ready to say yes. good luck
