Debate Rules
Here are the general forum rules that you must follow before you start any debate topics. Please make sure you've read and followed all directions.
- Topics are not to bash others.
- Immature behaviors/comments will not be tolerated.
- Please remember, not everyone thinks like you. People have different ways of thinking and different perspectives. Let's respect each other's thoughts and responses.
- PLEASE, search before making new topics--especially popular topics like "God" and "Abortion" etc.
- PLEASE, read through the thread or at least a couple pages before posting. We have to maintain a certain level of maturity in here.

I think its messed upfor them to say we havefreedom of speech when the bleep out music and tell us what we can and cant say at school in some states you cant even wear hip huggers so why do the call it a free countryits like lying

I like America. We are the only country that has as much freedom as we do. In France you can get arrested for wearing a cross. In Afghanistan women can be beaten for showing more skin than their eyes and nose. we have it great in America

personally, to me, freedom of speech is more like a gift than a right. take pride tat at least ya won't get shot at or something for sayin something against someone or wat. in other countries, ya won't get to see daylight if ya caught thinking abt it!! so dun abuse da gift given to us. it is not our rights either. if ya think ya da lone ranger here, pls be ma guess coz imma stickin to ma guns!! bang bang!! u no what i finally have someone to agree with me.... i really dont like this country.... and it makes me angry and our leaders suck and this countries broken.... and it always will be.... american culture is like glass.... u see thro it but there isnt anything there
