I don't listen to Asian music all that much... Especially the "new" Viet music because a lot of the younger artists just steal/translate from foreign music and sing it as their own creation.

philippines - mostly OPMs & the kind of music i grew up listening to. my fave filipino singers are jessa zaragosa, lea salonga & regine velasquez. i looove apo hiking society & beginning to listen to gloc 9.

I'm not asian, and I don't understand the lyrics but most of the time the reason i listen to some of these bands/singers is because i like the beats or guitars in the songs that i listen to, my brother is fluent in japanese though and that's how i found out most of these bands/singers in the first place

hmm i used to listen to japanese stuff, but im kinda out of it now days. I like L'arc~en~Ciel, Moi Dix Mois, Kaggra, Aiko, Rag Fair, Yuzu. I still hit these artists every once in a while though
