not sure if deres a topic on this already but...
would u keep on holding on or let go if you reallly loved someone but then you're assuming they like someone else cuz its obvious. i mean really, loved. like taking all their mistakes and all and still see a imperfect person perfectly. |

You know after you break up with someone the choice to hold on always lingers in ones mind... At least it lingers in the peoples who really loved that person. I, for one, still love my ex who broke up with me in december. Alot of people tell me to move on, and others have told me to hold on... It all depends on how you feel... I am ok with holding on not because I have to, but because I still feel something deep within... moving on and holding on are options, and neither one of them is wrong to follow... You do what your heart tells you, and by doing so, you've made the right decision

that situation is EXACTLY like mine. i've been with my boyfriend for a year and 7 months but a week ago he told me how he really felt and said that he wanted to try something new. that really hurt me. he's never "actually" been with a viet girl and wanted to try that out...and i REALLY REALLY love him. we've been on and off but i know he loves me too. i just don't want to get hurt anymore. i want to keep holding on and hoping he'll come back to me but what will i do then? i can't trust him but i love him no matter what. some told me to move on, some tell me to still hold on...but i just don't know what i should do in my heart. i hear some things about him saying why he wants to stay with me (because he needs a prom date) and that just pisses me off....so i'm not sure. *sigh* so depressed.

It's probably not very healthy to continue to hold on when he obviously likes someone else. but then again, it's hard to forget someone you really love... If I was in your situation, I guess I would keep him in mind, but wouldn't let the thoughts of him stop me from exploring other options and testing out the other fish in the sea... so basically, yea i'll always keep those fond thoughts of him in mind... but if i see a better opportunity, I would probably not pass it up just to wait for him, especially since he's moved on... (if he can date/like other girls, why can't i?) ya know?
