so my friend asked me that one day
for me it would be a very difficult choice... if someone knew.. it would be such an embarassment to my family especially how alll my relatives are like crazy compettitng their kids to be the best... then it would be hard for a 16 yr old to keep her baby and go to school and do great in it. cant have an aboriton because we're catholic and it would suck... adoption would still mean carrying it for 9 months and then later give her/him away what would u guys do |

I know I am a guy and don't know how a woman would feel about getting raped but she should seriously abort if she got pregnant. Think of it this way, if a guy rapes you, the baby may have the same tendencies as the father. You don't know the dude or even love him. If it was consensual sex then maybe I might say just put the baby up for adoption but when it is "forced" sex against your will, I wouldn't agree to keeping it. Why should you have to deal with keeping a baby?

adoption would be good, but i prefer abortion, i mean even tho im killin it <which id feel really guilty> but i didnt WANT to have him/her, and its not my fault or anythin, otherwise id keep it

i'd definately take some morning after pills or something to protect myself. but dunno.
i guess i would put it up for adoption, and then murder the father. either taht or sue the father and get rich quick.  or maybe abort it. but i ono... i would never keep it. i would probably despise it forever if i did.

i would give it up for adoption.
not many people know, but abortion can keep you from having babies for the rest of your life. i do not want to risk it!! plus, no baby deserves to die no matter how young or undeveloped, it is still a baby. |

If I got raped..I'd take EC (emergency contraception). Then technically its not abortion and I wouldn't want to carry the child of a man who forced me.

i would keep it even though i have problems w/children but i would give up for adoption cause there would be a chance that my child wouldn't get adopted and get sent to numerous foster homes and such. I also couldn't get an abortion. I would feel too guilty and carry the thought w/me for the rest of my life

I would probably get an abortion, even though I am against abortion. Abortion to me is wrong when YOU are the person that decides whether or not to have un-protected sex. However, in the case of rape, you have no choice in anything. You're forced in to having sex or whatever.

i'm not a girl, so my opinion is most likely biased (since i wouldn't have to deal w/ it as much), but i'd much rather keep the baby.
i know the whole process would traumatize you, and having a baby might make it worse, but i bet 20-30 years down the road, you'd think, "i'm so glad that i kept the baby because i love my child." yea...it would suck....you would pretty much lose your life (to take care of your kid...unless your parents helped...which they should). but why kill a baby who might has potential to do something good in this world? i had always taken the stance of letting the girls abort the baby if i wanted to...until i heard someone who had been born as a result of rape. he said he was so thankful that his mother had chosen to give birth and raise him, even though it would be hell on her |

To me, getting an abortion is almost as bad as raping someone
. That's just my opinion tho, I'd give the child a life, and put him/her up for adoption.

It depends on how old I am when I get raped and got pregnant. I'm 14 right now, so I don't think I would survive carrying a baby for 9 months. Besides that, I've got school and stuff. I would get an abortion for this early of age. If I got raped at the age of 20 or older, I would keep it because I wouldn't want to kill any baby. After giving birth, I would put it up for adoption.
