that might be true but if the love is strong enough, going separate directions shouldn't break up the relationship.

It all depends... most cases it's true... it all depends on the 'love' factor in your relationship... most couples break up because they can't handle the long distance....

After the Soviet Union ended, did all the little Soviet Republics break up? Not only did they break up, but they started shooting at each other!!

i think it's true that most high school relationships do not make it through college due to the distance factor. I know a few couples that have survived the high school to college transition, but that's only because they went to either A.) the same college, or B.) colleges that were somewhat close to one another.

I guess it all depends on how hard each party is willing to try... as long as both of you don't give up and stay loyal... things should be okay. _unsure.gif

i don't wanna be pessimistic, but most high school relationships don't last...unless it's very serious, and you guys are going out for a better reason than having someone to have sex with.

it's usually in college, or when you start a career, where you find that one person who you know you wanna be w/ for the rest of your life

well, with most of my other friends, that's what happened... they were together during high school.. but when they both started to go to college (in different states) they wanted to meet new people... have fun.. etc.... however... i've been with my boyfriend since high school... its been 4 years and 4 months... we go to the same college, so it's easier... i think that if we went to different colleges, we would still be together... it all depends on you and your "mate" i guess... if you're both committed and want a "Serious" relationship.. then you two would do anything to make it work... but more than often... high school relationships rarely lasts.... wink.gif

it all depends on the couple. if they wanna continue their relationship & have complete faith & trust in the other person or they think that they're moving into diff. directions & it's better off that way..

well it actually depends on the situation... if you guys go to the same school well then there's a possibility... and if you really love each other.. yeah. But sometimes, even if how hard you try and you two are too far.. it always ends up breakin... but if you two were really meant to be then you'll meet each other on the crossroad.
