i think its really hard to argue for china because of communism and the oppressive government they have. Although i am chinese, i do believe america provides a higher quality of life for its citizens than china does for its citizens.
If you only want to look at controlling the people the obviously china is better because of the state-run media and the "you can never say anything bad about the government" rule. As far as improving society goes i think america is way better although china is on its way.

US is far more superior.
Sure China has millions of able-bodied men. But how are you gonna get them across the pacific?

Dude, are you seroius? Baywatch, applepie, Bill Clinton, basketball, Monica Lewinski all come from America. I love America, it's the only place where you can be rowdy, loud, and belligerent.

China is bigger, but I don't know a lot about it. Every country has it's bad parts though, no one will ever be 100% happy with their country, I'm pretty content with mine though. I don't think I would like china because of Communism, talk about a good idea gone wrong. I don't like government though, I think that if people could stop being assholes we wouldn't need it. Ok I'm off topic.

uh i cant say.
i've only been living here in the US for 6 years
and so far, i dont like it.
sure the luxuries are better but
its too damn convenient. then when people
are put in not-so-pleasant situations, they
break down easier cuz they've been so used to
convenience. i dont know.
i've never lived in China either.
so..NEUTRAL

Even though I'm chinese, I'd have to go with the US. I find it more stable here than in China (no offense to people living there)

okay I'm going with U.S. all the way! WHy? because I don't speak Cantonese, most people in Comi. China speaks Cantonese rather than MAndarin. Secondly, Chinas air quality is terrible, it's causing global warming. And thirdly, I just don't like the country. LOL I prefer Taiwan. Don't get me wrong, I'm not even Chinese or Taiwanese.
