Reason why I shouldn't convert:

I get to keep my free will, no limits, no constraints--I can think for myself. I mean the real thing, not something like: I'm "created" with 'free will', but then I have to follow the will of God anyway.

So yeah, that's reason enough for me.

2. provides for u last time i check, my parents did that. if they were to lose thier jobs, nooo, jesus isn't turning up with food. that would be welfare, the government, or meals on wheels.

3. loves u so does michael jackson (if you're a little boy). enough said.

4. saved u when? not now, not before. jesus never helped anyone after he died. assuming that what the book of historical fiction says he did was based in some fact. if it wasn't, then he never helped anyone. this is assuming he exists, or course, without using the book of historical fiction as a refrence.

5. and u will go to Heaven why? why will i go to heaven? just because i'm christian? so all non christians burn, no matter how good they are, but only christians can get past the pearlies????? what kind of religion is that?

uhm..its a popular misconception that christianity is restraining. . BUT...its really the only thing that sets yu free....jesus is amazing & wonderful and theres no feeling that can ever take the place of peace in god... when you have god in yur heart you will be saved and go to heaven . . others will be doomed to an eternity in helL ..so where do want to be when you die heaven or hell? i love going to church and the friends i have in chuch are the closest one i have in the world..its bcuz yu just have a special connestion with them....people should really convert bcuz when you think about what god has done for you, he died and suffered for your sins so that you will not go to hell, all you have to do is accept him and yu will get the gift of eternal life..

I don't know about you, but I depend on my parents for guidance and support. They may not be all powerful like God, but they are more real and tangible than He. Is your relationship with your parents okay? I mean, I love my parents, and they love me... so I can depend on them.

its not just even what yu do....just thinkin about doing a sin is just as good as doing it..and yu will go to hell you cant help that bcuz yu are human...and adam and eve made a huge mistake so everyone is a sinner...the only way to get out of it is to accept god..

3) life is self-discovery, death is inevitable.

A lot of people don't need religion for those things, but it appeals to people who needs answers for every problem, I guess.

I don't need answers, I ask when what I believe in is threatened, I just want to live my life the way I want to.

it seems to me that the only reason why this thread was made is to make us christians look stupid and make us try to defend ourselves. you said yourself that you doubt anybody would want to convert so then whats the point? its like all you want to do is see us get bashed, contradict ourselves, and just make us look bad in general. and its like youre instigating too. there are multiple reasons why we believe people should be saved, but we are also taught that if you try to share the gospel with somebody and they reject it, we cannot force it upon them. it is your choice whether you want to become a Christian or not. All God wants is to be able to spend all of eternity with mankind in heaven..and im guessing that youre thinking, 'well then why doesnt he just make all of us Christians since hes the supreme being as all of you say?' the reason is because he loves us so much he does not want to force us to believe in him and all that hes done. He loves us so much that he gives us the choice whether to become Christians or not. i dont see the point in this thread because all of the arguments will be exactly the same as every other religion thread. as i said before, we cant force you to become believers..and as for me, i will not waste my time trying to save others and make myself look inferior to non-believers when they have already said that they cannot be persuaded. its pointless..you cant win them all
