well.. my parents are strict but then.. they can't do much about what i do..
if they kick me out, fine. i crash with my friends. they threaten to not buy me stuff. so what? i make enough to survive on my own. so they really can't do anything... but of course, since i'm underage, they're responsible for me and i can't move out yet....... but yea.. they're strict.. |

My parents are so strict and overprotective! I can't go to the movies with friens, can't go to the mall with friends, I can't even have a bf. Meanwhile, everybody else does. I'm not allowed to date until I'm 18.

mine try and act like they're strict, but they're really not. it's like an asian parenting front that they give off. btw i'm 18 now and i've never asked them for anything for years cuz i started working since i was 14.

Yeaps! I DO! I barely even go out the house since there's really no where to go and even if I wanted to hang out with someone, NOPE! It's not going to happen until I'm 18, but it's just protection you know? :D It's all good. At least I think it is.

my parents "were" really strict, but 1 by 1 i broke the rules and their expectations and they began to chillax haha... yea i still get crap from them when i do stuff though

Yeah, I have waaaaay overprotected parents. They won't let me go and see movies with my friends with their parents, not even if my older brother goes, they won't let me date, or even like boys, (do I?....) Lol.

I can't sleepover at anyone's house... I can't date anyone who they don't like... I can't drive myself (when I have my license for 3 years now...) I can't talk on my phone for over 30 min. I can't go out past 11pm (curfew) THey control my eating habits... gosh juss kill me now |

strict..? how about insanely conservative?
my mother is always saying, "you can't go out pass 8pm" or "you can't date while you're still studying." she likes to think that she's "liberal" but she's not. she won't even let me have my personal time on the computer when i get home. it's always the same story with her.. "you're always immersed in your computer, you don't even help out with the chores!" excuse me but i actually do my part for the family. i pay part of the phone bill and for the dsl.... plus, she's very strict about my grades.. i can't even afford to get a B..!!! *rage* but anyway.. i don't like B's myself.. but that's not the point..! she's very strict about everything..!! my father, on the other hand, is over-protective and paranoid about everything.. but he lets me do some of the things i like, i.e. chat online. |
