So my dad got a job in Virgina Beach, Va and I am really torn of either going or not going. I love it here Charleston, SC but I was thinking I have been here for a while and I want to explore new things and new places. The only thing I am truly scared of is losing my friends...and its hard to find good friends...sigh... Help!!!

if your parents choose to move, you don`t really have much of a choice, right? new schools are always great because you get a fresh start. and besides, you`re bound to lose touch with a lot of high school friends after you go to college anyway. =] my opinion is that you should go. it might bring about new opportunities. ya never know.

i don't think it's very difficult to find new friends. you'll get them in time in one way or another, because... yeah. it's kind of the way it's always worked out for me.

cheers. good luck whatever you choose.

Making new friends isnt that hard cuz eventually you will make some.. but if your parents want you to move with them.. i think you should move with them.. cuz a new start is always great

i don't really like changes all that much, and i would definitely miss living in my home town and all my friends... so i wouldn't move.

since you have ur own apartment, can u do both? maybe live in va for half a year. and then for the next half of the year stay in charleston? (i visited virginia beach btw, and it was so nice there!)

well. the choice is yours, best wishies! biggrin.gif
