i just rented and watched it last night and thought it was amazing. the amputation scene literally made me sweat. and the music during that scene made it even more unbearable. any thoughts? oh and james franco was sooo good.

I got a bit bored at one point, but I still thought the movie was good. The amputation scene wasn't quite as bad as I expected. I liked that they visually showed the deterioration of his mind as the days went by.

I got bored when he started having visions of people on the couch. I really thought that the rain scene was real. iTunes recommended the movie Sunshine from the same director, I watched that also, I liked both a lot.
