find things that are of interest to you. try even other blogging sites, posterous is a new and upcoming one you might find that of more interest to you
at any rate though you can just follow everything you see and overload youself with a lot of information |

Or maybe that's just me. tumblr is a great place to meet people who share your interests. there are people who just reblog things, but if you meet a group of people that post and discuss things that you are interested in, it becomes fun. for example, i'm a huge whedonite and most of my friends and coworkers don't have any interest in joss whedon and never watched his shows. so there really isn't any way i can talk about sonething that i love with the people i know irl. tumblr provides people who share this interest with me and gives me a place where i can discuss this with people who wont think i'm crazy. |
